Growing up, Rob was exposed to his parent's  country records of Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Lefty Frizell, Buck Owens, Marty Robbins and others as well his older brothers' rock and roll records of artists like Led Zeppelin, Chicago, The Eagles, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Eric Clapton and many more. That strange brew of musical genres has made him the well-rounded musician he is today.  Rob has been playing professionally since 1995 throughout North-Central Florida . Rob plays acoustic guitar and bass guitar and sings lead and background/harmony vocals. He has played in favorite local bands such as Final Chapter, Wanted Alive, Hired Gun, Gold Rush, Whiplash, The Defendants, Wheelz, Geezer Inc. and Willow Creek.  Rob has contributed to many songwriting projects and performed studio work with noted local musicians Mitch Sands, Robert Lovelace, Jon Alexander, Angela Lang and Johnny Morrison. He is most influenced by Southern and Classic Rock, and Blues as well as Country. His instrument of choice is a rare Alvarez 4-string electric bass guitar.  Rob has recently also added to his sonic palette by building a pedal board and adding some effects (Boss TU-2 Tuner pedal,  MXR Phase 90, Cruzer Analog Dela, Electro-Harmonix Mole Bass boos,  a BBE Sonic Stomp and an Aphex bass exciter with a Gator G-Bus=8 supplying the power to the pedals.

  Alvarez electric bass guitar

This bass guitar was probably made in the 90's and from what little I've been able to learn about it, it is probably a Alvarez Villain model, produced in Korea. I haven't been able to track down much more information on it as of yet, but I am scowering the internet to try and find out about it. It has active pickups in a P/J formation with a tone and volume knob for each set of pickups.  It has a bolt-on neck and Alvarez pickups.
